Sixteen year old Elizabeth Hausman seems to have it all: a loving family, popularity and a special love interest. Life is going just the way it should for a teenage girl in central Pennsylvania until her father dies unexpectedly. Elizabeth’s mother struggles to keep things going without her husband, but troubled by Elizabeth’s reckless behavior with her boyfriend, she takes a new job, moving them both to southern Louisiana.

This book is fantastic! It has been a phenomenal read for me. I really loved Ben and Elizabeth's friendly chemistry that was going on throughout the
story. That is what best friends are supposed to do. Be there for each other in every way they can. Anyone who wants to read something that may be a
little old fashioned should jump into this story. I mean I am 20 year old guy and I loved it! The author was able to make the story old fashioned
without losing any hint of the modern era parts of society. Fantastic JOB!
